Both Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck are true boys from Hamburg. They are in their mid 30´s and have had single careers of their own for more than 10 years, but when they joined forces things began to simmer. They have so much in common that you could think they were twins in mind. Both started to play musical instruments at school and also started their DJ careers then. As they grew up Patrick started to study and Frederic started an apprenticeship. Patrick quite his studies and once Frederic had completed his hotelier apprenticeship both became professional musicians. After several years pursuing their musical careers they meet up and discovered that they had a great deal in conmen and then started to work together. Kaiserdisco signed to MBF two years ago and have since then accumulated half a dozen top chart positions on Beatport and international fame. What started as fun in 2008 with a remix for Phunklarique (one half of Piemont) and Pierce, got hugely successful and won an award as one of "Beatport's minimal top 10 selling tracks in 2008". Their “Pipe!” EP (MBF 12052) was a raw and psychedelic EP to start off with which earned shouts from DJs such as Format:B, Len Faki, Technasia, Joseph Capriati etc. With their Zapateria EP (MBF 12055), they created their first summer hit and title song, the a-side “Espandrillo” got very high in the Beatport charts as well as selling very good through Kompakt distribution as vinyl. Meanwhile also remixers such as Uto Karem and Hermanez had spread the fame, when the 3rd EP “Amalfino” hit the shops and evolved as the biggest hit they had so far. Climbing up to no3 in the Beatport sale charts and staying in the charts for over 3 months, “Amalfino” was hitting the bulls-eye in every respect. Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Stephan Bodzin, Dubfire, Tiefschwarz were among the many to celebrate the track in their sets and to boost the popularity of Kaiserdisco. Since then Kaiserdisco have been gigging in clubs and festivals around the world. Releases on Terminal M and Drumcode, Kling Klong and Micro.fon showed that their potential was huge. Remixes for Booka Shade, Umek and Swedish pop singer Robyn are cooking. After five 12”s on MBF they decided it was the time for the next step in their career. With an album release Kaiserdisco would be able to really show their whole range of music. The album „In no one's Shadow“ (MBF CD004) will feature 10 brand new exclusive and unreleased trax, as well as their chart breakers „Aguja“ and „Carachillo“ and will be accompanied by a video and an album tour.

Paolo Alberto aka Dusty Kid loves travelling, no matter whether it is a trip through his own sensuous spheres of experience (like in his solo debut album „A Raver’s Diary“ in 2009), or a real road movie…“Beyond That Hill“ takes the straight bass drum out of the club and plants it on the roadside. Beats are rushing past like power poles, a fresh breeze is blowing in your face, both literally and figuratively, and in front of you there is nothing else than the vast horizon, a shimmering dance of coordinates. Dusty Kid wanders through luscious, epic landscapes of sounds. Hence, it is not surprising that some of his tracks hit the 10-minute mark without being tiring or exhaustive. You will rather find yourself gliding above the sounds, yet still close enough to admire all the wonderful details, and high enough to get a good view. The sounds are far more than just pure metaphysical mumbling or a series of meaningless loops and effects. The opener “Nora Nights” already starts at a tight pace, yet with a well-defined and delicately balanced structure and ambience. Every single second, every single sound bit is essential. In “Jknoussa”, Dusty Kid first plays the Grand Canyon tourist at the coin slot telescope; then, in the 14-minute floor hugger “Argia”, he turns into the adventurous mountaineer climbing between the jagged rocks along the abyss, suspended between heaven and earth, yet absorbing both at the same time. A little break at the campfire offer “Chentu Mizas” and “Beyond That Hill” with a rhythm guitar that invokes the ancestors under the moonlight, and help you to get mentally prepared for “Polybolo”—the monster that drags the mountaineer into the abyss, and hits the dance floor like an avalanche. Gone are the friendly and crackling nostalgic sounds where vocals and strings were exchanging soft cotton balls… now, time has come to start the survival training that every raver who calls himself professional should have passed in the acid shower. Constant knocking wears the stone: like the peak bagger who finds himself awe-struck by the earth’s elemental forces, “Polybolo” reveals the pure longing, the archaic natural forces, only by means of pure synthetic tools. But soon after, the traveller gets his guitar back from “Cheyenne”, peaceful and organic, but still pushing thanks to precise footwork and a superbly arranged frequency spectrum. And finally, “That Hug” pulls out all the stops again to sensibly recapitulate the way the audience has travelled so far. With grand gesture and universal aspiration, this unique and unforgettable trip comes to an end. And once again Dusty Kid proves that he is the master of the album format. Hardly anyone manages to make his productions a consistent, varied and inspiring narrative. An ideal mix tape for some, highly imaginative cinema for others, but the result is always the same: it is a story to dance to, a road musical for adventurous people.

Cirillo inizia la sua professione come dj nel 1980, oltre ad essere resident tutti i sabati nella piramide di Riccione appare anche in locali come "Dc 10 Circoloco" (Ibiza), locale che gestisce assieme a tre soci. Nella sua carriera è stato resident presso Amnesia (Ibiza - summer 1990), Peter Parn (1986-90), Teatriz (Ravenna), Baia Imperiale (Rimini), Villa delle Rose (Rimini). Vanta partecipazioni in Rave internazionali come MayDay (Dortmunt), Energy (Zurigo), Love Parade (1993,96,97,98), Rave City (1,2,3,4,5,6,7), Nature one (Mannheim), Evolution (Zurigo), e tanti altri. Dal 1990 è "simbolo" del Cocoricò di Riccione, dove spesso gli viene riconosciuto l'appellativo di Re. Considerato tri inumeri uno in Italia ed anche tra i migliori dj sul mercato internazionale, ha collaborato spesso con dj come Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Sven Vath, Wetsbam, Lenny Dee, Mark Spoon, Talla 2 xic, e Taucher, e diviso la consolle con Layo & Buschwackha, Danny Tenaglia, Peace division, Timo Maas etc..Tante le sue apparizioni in locali ai vertici d'Europa come Amnesia, Space, Pacha ad Ibiza, Dorian Gray, XS e Omen a Francoforte, Ministry of Sound, Shoom, Land of Oz, a Londra, nonchè l'OXA ed il Sensor di Zurigo. Adesso lo possiamo trovare abitualmente alla consolle del suo Dc10 Circoloco, la serata vincitrice del premio Best Night in Ibiza.

Emiliano Mosci - meglio conosciuto come EMIX, nasce dj techno nel settembre del 1989, le sua carriera inizia con i Rave e gli After Hours. L'amore per la musica anni 80' e la ricerca continua di nuove sonorita' saranno determinanti nel trasformarlo in breve tempo in "collezionista" di vinili rari. Dal 92 al 95 si afferma a livello nazionale con party acid/techno. Dopo il famoso "Insomnia The Dream" 24h no stop del 31/12/95 (Anzio/Italy), lavorera' come dj/resident nei piu' importanti club italiani: Cocorico', Palladium, Hollywood, Red Zone, Arabesk, Piper, Alien, nel party trasgressivo Muccassassina (c/o Qube - Rome/Italy) e al Diabolika (c/o Nrg - Rome/Italy). All'estero nel 2007 e' dj/resident allo Space (Ibiza/Spain). Collabora con molte etichette tra cui: Flat Belly, Universal Sound, Sony, Evidence, Exp, Gas, Molto, Start, Status, Mr Disc, Paprika, I'm, Algoritmic, Eclipse, Circus, Fulltime, Sound Real, Spectra, Python, Stereoseven, Nib, Dbx & Clubbin', grazie a quest'ultima si impone nel panorama Italiano e Internazionale, realizzano la cover di Electrica Salsa degli Off (con vocal di Sven Väth), licenziata sulla DeeJay Parade 2004 e il remix di Exogroove feat.ing Tony Bruno. Con il brano Scariche su etichetta ACID 80', attira maggiormente l’attenzione del grande pubblico. Collabora con una della piu importanti radio-network d'italia: M2o.
Nel 2006 pubblica Officine Romane il suo primo album, accompagnato dal video di Baby, il primo singolo estratto. Nel 2008 diventa Socio Onorario dell'ANPAD (Associazione Nazionale Produttori Autori Disc Jokey). Emiliano Mosci - meglio conosciuto come EMIX, nasce dj techno nel settembre del 1989, le sua carriera inizia con i Rave e gli After Hours. L'amore per la musica anni 80' e la ricerca continua di nuove sonorita' saranno determinanti nel trasformarlo in breve tempo in "collezionista" di vinili rari. Dal 92 al 95 si afferma a livello nazionale con party acid/techno. Dopo il famoso "Insomnia The Dream" 24h no stop del 31/12/95 (Anzio/Italy), lavorera' come dj/resident nei piu' importanti club italiani: Cocorico', Palladium, Hollywood, Red Zone, Arabesk, Piper, Alien, nel party trasgressivo Muccassassina (c/o Qube - Rome/Italy) e al Diabolika (c/o Nrg - Rome/Italy). All'estero nel 2007 e' dj/resident allo Space (Ibiza/Spain). Anche in europa e nel mondo si esibisce in party/clubs prestigiosi: Space (Valencia/Spain), Goliath (c/o Hallenstadion - Zurich/Swiss), Duplex (Prague/Cesko), Lipgloss (San Diego/Ca. Collabora con molte etichette tra cui: Flat Belly, Universal Sound, Sony, Evidence, Exp, Gas, Molto, Start, Status, Mr Disc, Paprika, I'm, Algoritmic, Eclipse, Circus, Fulltime, Sound Real, Spectra, Python, Stereoseven, Nib, Dbx & Clubbin', grazie a quest'ultima si impone nel panorama Italiano e Internazionale, realizzano la cover di Electrica Salsa degli Off (con vocal di Sven Väth), licenziata sulla DeeJay Parade 2004 e il remix di Exogroove feat.ing Tony Bruno. Con il brano Scariche su etichetta ACID 80', attira maggiormente l’attenzione del grande pubblico. Collabora con una della piu importanti radio-network d'italia: M2o. Nel 2006 pubblica Officine Romane il suo primo album, accompagnato dal video di Baby, il primo singolo estratto. Nel 2008 diventa Socio Onorario dell'ANPAD (Associazione Nazionale Produttori Autori Disc Jokey - www.anpad.it). Nel 2009 vince il Dj Awards come migliore dj italiano e crea insieme a D.Lewis il progetto Reazione (www.reazione.co.uk), il loro live efx show, dove suonano in "back to back" per tutta la notte. In tour Europeo con sponsor: Reloop, Vestax, Native Instruments & Otus. Nel 2010 collabora con The Vision Agency (www.thevision.biz) e Strobe (www.strobe.es). Sempre nel 2010, grazie a Fedde Le Grand, Funkadelic remixa Lunchbox, un suo progetto targato Acid 80, che arriva ai vertici delle classifiche in pochissimo tempo. Sempre in continua evoluzione e sempre alla ricerca di nuovi artisti del panorama italiano e internazionale, nel Club tra i club, essenziale, ruvido, senza lustrini, dove l'attenzione del pubblico e' focalizzata sulla proposta musicale. Dalla mezzanotte in poi si alterneranno in consolle Emix [Acid 80, Zig zag - Ita], artista di spicco del panorama tech house, che non ha bisogno di presentazioni / Dema [Strom, Autist - Ita] che dopo aver scalato le chart dei maggiori "portali", si sta' distinguendo tra i club italiani e internazionali per i suoi set / Axel [Diva - Ita] fondatore del progetto Doubleskin insieme a Dema e A&R della Diva Records, Roberth Hein [Acid 80 - Ita] dj & produttore apprezzato per il suo feeling con il floor e Simone Virgilii [Ita] nuovo dj emergente della scena capitolina.
Nella prima parte della serata, dalle 21 alle 23.30 ci sara' il concerto di Woven Hand [Familyre - usa], artista di spicco del panorama rock alternativo, che in occasione dell'uscita del nuovo album "The Threshingfloor", vi portera' in viaggio con le sue metriche dal new wave post punk alla psichedelia.

Viviamo un momento musicale dove il nuovo e' il vecchio e il vecchio e' il nuovo. Ddove si parla degli anni 80',90',70' e 2000, in ordine sparso, sia in TV la domenica pomeriggio, che nei migliori jet set, tra intellettuali, cultori e maghi. Dove le realta' del clubbin' e della discografia, si rincorrono sul web alla ricerca di qualcosa di nuovo che all'apparenza non e' manifesto a nessuno, vivendo questo forte squilibrio in modo ansiotico e artisticamente ripetitivo. Forse la chiave di lettura non e' nella musica, che attualmente si sta' solo autoreferenziando, o nell'arredamento di un club, o nel personaggio carismatico che lo rappresenta/promuove. Forse la chiave e' altrove. Strobe e' un party che nasce da queste considerazioni, senza avere la presunzione di porsi come elemento rilevatore. Strobe diventa di conseguenza un suggerimento ad un ritorno alle origini di quello che era una volta il concetto di club, un punto di ritrovo senza troppi lustrini e senza troppe speculazioni, dove ascoltare della musica, proposta da djs e producers che fanno di questi momenti, dove la luce e' stroboscopicamente troppo veloce per vederci chiaro, un punto di proposta e ricerca, tra il loro background e l'influenza del kaos. Gli eventi si svolgeranno all'INIT Club, conosciuto per la sua programmazione live sempre all'avanguardia (ponendosi come punto di riferimento per tutti i gruppi del panorama italiano e internazionale Indie, Rock, Wave etc etc), per la sua radice fortemente underground, e per essere un club interessato alle nuove realta' elettroniche romane di qualita'. Il primo appuntamento e' per Venerdi' 22 Ottobre, dopo il concerto di Mice Parade [FatCat Records - Usa] , Laetitia Sadier [Uk], Silje Nes [Ger - FatCat Records], dalle 23.30, si alterneranno in consolle D Lewis, Robert Hein e il trio NHB. La selezione sara' progressive-house & techno, anche se ai ragazzi di STROBE non piacciono le etichette.

NHB(Not Hard Beatz) sono Valerio Rossi, Federico De Marinis e Claudio capuano(www.myspace.com/nhbeatz) , trio di musicisti romani da anni alle presi con Drum Machine e Sintetizzatori.Parte integrante e vitale del trio e' Fabrizio Pettorelli. La loro collaborazione ha radici nel lontano 2004 , passa per l organizzazione di eventi musicali in alcuni dei club piu' prestigiosi della capitale ( Brancaleone su tutti) e arriva al 2008 dove comincia a consolidarsi il loro progetto Discografico Il 2009 e' stato sicuramente un anno fondamentale per i tre , che con ep del calibro di SILENCE e THE GAMBLER, sono riusciti a salire ai posti piu' alti delle classifiche di Beatport e a ricevere il supporto di prestigiosi artisti internazionali : ALEX YOUNG ,FROM KARAOKE TO STARDOM , RICKY STONE ,AHMET SENDIL ,PHUNKLARIQUE , CHASE BUCK, GLITTER,GIULIANI E ROSSETTI, ALEX LONG, MARIO MIRANDA e molti altri ....Attualmente collaborano con le prestigiose etichette Flat Belly e Bosphorus Underground
ROBERT HEIN
Robert Hein, nasce a Roma il 10/12/1987. Inizia la sua carriera come Producer nel 2006 e collabora da subito con: Acid 80, Zig Zag & Antibemusic, labels discografiche di spesssore internazionale. Il passo successivo lo porta a lavorare nei locali piu cult di Roma: Alien, Saponeria, Alpheus, Loop, Piper, Palladium, Hollywood (Trevignano / Rm) e molti altri ancora. Ha stretto regolari collaborazioni in Sardegna con AREAMITO, suonando nei locali più prestigiosi dell 'isola come : Vogue, La Siesta, Il Ruscello, Ovest Club, Mocambo, Sopravvento & Pata Pata. Nel 2008 esce con MOUSTIQUE, traccia che verra' inserita in seguito nella compilation "Diabolika vol.4" (distribuita Time), mixata da Dj Emix. Attualmente fa parte di AFTER-T Officine Romane, una delle strutture P.R. più importanti di Roma. Collabora con altre strutture come: VIZI CAPITALI & THE VISION. E' presente in tutti i party REAZIONE, festa ufficiale di Emix & D Lewis. Nel 2010 approda negli USA in Florida a Miami Beach, durante la WMC. Qui suona nei club: LA FOLIE D'AMOUR & NOWHERE, dove presenta il suo ultimo remix di: API aka EMIX & D LEWIS - LUNCHBOX, hit mondiale. La passione per questo lavoro e la capacita di adattarsi al continuo cambiamento di tendenze musicali fanno di lui un dj-producer all' avanguardia.
